Inspired by an animal, possibly a horse, the “Nomad” by Jason Battersby is an ambitious project that promising an “ultimate driving experience” The futuristic concept takes an animal-like shape, and the rider sits atop the concept as a person would sit on a horse, while the hand and foot controls work quite similar to a motorcycle. The Nomad not only looks like a beast, but also moves, on its legs, like a living being, which makes it ideal for off-road rides and adventure trips. The concept includes a helmet and survival pack for the rider that will find good use in the off-road adventure rides. And the GPS helps the Nomad to locate the best routes and its fuel source. Fantastically, the concept vehicle feeds on vegetation and uses it as a fuel.

I'm surprised the Big Dog robot developed by Boston Dynamics currently being tested in Afghanistan wasn't mentioned as an influence;
