Mission One Unviels its first production electric motorcycle.

"Mission One, the plug-in electric motorcycle from Mission Motors. Mission One has a 150-mile range and a top speed of 150 silent miles per hour and wrapped up in a Yves Béhar design.

The first 50 "Premier Limited Edition Mission One" bikes will be $69,000. Availability is expected to be early 2010. Power is delivered via one continuously winding CVT. Recharge time is estimated at 2 hours on 240V; 8 hours on 120V."

looks good - or maybe ugly as hell ?
dunno . for sure the electric motorcycles are so different in construction from ordinary ones that tey will naot look like "nice bikes" for a few years till we get used to them . I'm sure the first scooters had the same problem , but after the war they were after a niche less crowded with owners with reservations and money to let them decide . maybe someone should build "the electric bike" unlike any other - different in build style so they wouldn't be so lookalikeish .
