Coyote, who keeps his real identity a secret, was born in Rodez, France in October 1962. Before he went into comics, he was a car-painter, an engraver of tombstones and a tattoo-designer in Toulouse. At the end of the 1980's, he won a drawing contest organized by the newspaper La Dépêche du Midi. >From then on, his work could be found in several publications, most notably in motorcycle magazines and collective albums. Owning a 1943 Harley Davidson himself, he created his motorstrip, 'Mammouth et Piston'.
