"From early 80s, teenager especially who lived in public housing are fascinated with custom made bike. The iconic image of those bikes is having exaggerated decoration, which mimicking Formula One motorcycle; a pair of loudspeakers equipped in bike to broadcast bikers’ favorite music, which mostly are local pop songs; and fancy neon light bars attached to the bike. Because of the embellished visual style and thunderous audio playing, bike riders are always perceived as gang members even they are not. However, those teens do not notice that their conspicuous action is actually conquering public spaces into private one. Although they are uncertain with their own identities, some other has given them one."
