Ottonero posts some really interesting pics, but often gives zero information, as in this case. The pic is of Italian racer and speed record setter Gino Cavanna, born, I believe, in 1906. He had a long career and raced and/or sprinted, among other marques, Mondial, Vincent and Moto Guzzi. I think he set a speed record in 1959 on a Guzzi, using the Autostrada del Sole, which runs down the centre of Italy.
