Michel Aroutcheff.

From his youth, Michel Aroutcheff spent his youth in Morocco, then later attended high school in France. He later spends five years studying fine arts in Paris, specializing in Architecture, before taking off for Canada.


In 1973 he starts to create furniture and toys.. anmong which his famous miniature cars in laquered wood. In 1986 he creates his own small company. Comic art collectors rush to his statues and models of comic strip and cartoon characters and heroes, realized in full detail and modeled in colourful laquered wood, resin and metal. His miniatures from Boule & Bill, Gil Jourdan, Tintin, Gaston just to name a few. have become highly sought after by collectors worldwide.

Aroutcheff lives and works now in a little mountain village near Annecy, France, where he prepares his new collections.
