Gallery: Vintage ice racing in Sweden.

"Those who turn left on ice and dirt with old methanol fuelled racing motorcycles. Some of the riders are former speedway and/or ice racing stars, some are greyhaired beginners. The motorcycles are genuine racers, not modified street bikes. Engines run on methanol with a compression ratio 14-15/1, and a capacity of 500 cc. There are no brakes, and only one low footrest on the right hand side."

This is the positively, in my opinion, the most ferociously graceful motorsport in existence.
