"A scientific genius and family man from Osaka, Shinji has always put family and tradition over all else. He worked in a high tech lab for the Japanese government making top secret weapons, chemicals, and mechanics. Shinji himself was one of the chief engineers of the mechanics department.

When his wife and two kids was diagnosed with a rare and incurable disease, Shinji figured that there was nothing he could do. He fell into a spiral of depression and despair, especially when the government he worked for for so long told him that it is worthless to try, and there wont be a cure for a long time.

But a light of hope shined on Shinji, in the form of an advertisement for a tournament taking applications. He knew this was his chance to save his family. The prize money was ten billion dollars, which was enough to come up with a cure for this disease in no time. So within the two weeks before the tournament had started, he had modified his motorcycle with parts he stole from his job, and turned his vehicle into what some say will the the tightest and nimblest vehicle the tournament has ever seen.

He named his vehicle Zetsumei, which is Japanese for death. the reason behind this being he is fighting to prevent it, and the vehicle itself will be causing it."
