The Designhuis ‘Bicyle’ exhibition roller coaster.

Via: trendhunter

"Times are never dull in the Netherlands. As part of the Designhuis ‘Bicyle’ exhibition, Swedish designer Anders Jakobsen has created a roller-coaster for bicycles. The rustic structure, made with a chainsaw and pieces of salvaged wood is open and available for anyone with the nerve to take a shot at the bumpy narrow path, steep banks and hills. The highest point is said to be 2 meters off the ground.

The exhibition runs through to October 5, 2008 in Eindhoven, and Designhuis says its goal is to, “give an overview of the bicycle in its context, as a means of transport, a social phenomenon, as a means of recreation, as a lifestyle, as a means of engaging in (top-class) sport."
